The argument three weeks later
When a customer says the goods never arrived, someone scrolls back through chats looking for a photo, a time and a name. The photo is there somewhere. The signature is on a slip in the bakkie.
Ifikile turns each delivery into one sealed record the office holds and can check: what was delivered, who signed, the time on the phone, the place when the driver adds it, and a fingerprint that stops matching if anything in the record changes after sealing.
How it works
Type the reference, customer, address and a checklist. Ifikile makes a link you send to the driver on WhatsApp.
The job is saved on the driver's phone. From here on, signal is optional.
Tick the checklist, take up to six photos, get the customer to sign on the screen and add the location with one tap.
Closing the job stamps the time and calculates a fingerprint over the whole record, photos included.
Load the record on Verify with the fingerprint from the driver's message. If anything changed after sealing, it will not match.
Built for the road
Once Ifikile has been opened with signal, it opens and completes jobs with no connection at all: a power cut, a tower down, a basement loading bay.
Every sealed job carries a SHA-256 fingerprint. If a photo or detail changes after sealing, the record no longer matches the fingerprint the driver sent. Whether a record settles a dispute is for the people deciding it.
Keep your dispatch system, your spreadsheet or your accounting package. Ifikile adds the proof step and hands the results over as a CSV file.
Photos are shrunk on the phone before they go anywhere, and the app is stored on the phone after the first visit.
Drivers open the link in the phone's browser, WhatsApp's own browser included. Nothing to install, nobody to sign up.
Names, signatures, photos and locations stay on the phone until someone chooses to send a record. Location is read only when the driver taps for it.
